Community guidelines

This is a nonclinical peer-support and community space. It is not medical care, counseling, therapy, case management, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis service. Appalachian Access and its Patient Access Navigators do not provide medical advice or determine what treatment is appropriate. Participants should contact a licensed healthcare provider for medical questions and call 911 or 988 during an emergency or crisis.

  2. 2Respect each participant.
  3. 3Share personal experience without diagnosing others.
  4. 4Do not give medication or treatment instructions.
  5. 5Do not pressure anyone to share.
  6. 6Do not discriminate, threaten, harass, sexualize, or intimidate.
  7. 7Do not record, screenshot, photograph, transcribe, stream, or create AI notes.
  8. 8Do not share another participant's identity or story outside the group.
  9. 9Do not promote unrelated products, services, fundraising, or recruitment.
  10. 10Do not use the group for emergencies or crisis care.
  11. 11Follow the host's instructions.
  12. 12Appalachian Access may remove or block participants who violate the rules.

Privacy in the live room

For everyone's privacy, only first names will be displayed during the live session. Please do not share another participant's identity or personal information.

This group is not an emergency or crisis service. Call 911 for an emergency or 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
